PROTECT PUBLIC EDUCATION

Schools that are beating the odds to provide safe and successful education to students in California’s most needy areas are in danger of taking a huge hit - Tell decision makers to protect quality public schools >> Many charter schools help young people overcome significant obstacles to learning. They are often created by hardworking educators implementing exciting approaches to learning. But, despite an endorsement from the Governor, the SB 740 Charter School Facility Grant Program is in danger of being cut from the budget.

Tell the Assembly Education Committee to approve SB 740! - Without a reliable way to address the rising costs of rent and building maintenance, it may be almost impossible to provide California's most disadvantaged children with alternatives to unsafe, low-performing schools - TAKE ACTION!
